i'm not a creative type like you

i had a good week
but i missed my baby
talking to her makes me sane
the summer can't end soon enough


i decided i need to start writing again
cause it's been too long since i've held a pen
for anything other than work and bills

i've been on the brink of tears
and it is getting harder and harder to hold
them back. it's not a sadness that i'm feeling
but a feeling of overwhelming despair. i know
it's despair because it won't last as long
as the sad does, but it hurts twice as much.

tomorrow i probably won't feel like this, so this
post is defunct already. but just in case anyone wanted
to know, despair is making my brain feel like a scratched
record

it just repeats over and over all the things i don't want
to think about.
